Shoes section at River Island - Mall of the Emirates, Dubai
Totallly LUUUVVV the shoes display at River Island! Hats off to the visual merchandiser! (another one of my random dream jobs). It wins second place in shoes’ display; New Look’s “shoes corridor” comes first – it gives you that “kid in a candy store” feeling (don’t have a pic but if you live in Dubai you’ll know what I’m talking about!).
Now if only that was my walk-in closet (the footwear section of it that is!)

Long gone the days of reading magazines in the toilet…I’m developing an annoying habit of surfing the internet from my toilet seat :S
I wonder why many of us have a thing for reading in the toilet…I mean ur done with nature’s call but yr sitting there for half an hour flicking through some magazine, which you might as well just do from the comfort of your living room or bed!
Maybe its just that its easier to concentrate in a quiet toilet…but then again, its just a random magazine that doesn’t require concentration. Maybe its just relaxing to be confined to a small room with a seat, where you can get away from the whole world and deoccupy ur brain fron life and occupy it with some random act (i.e reading a magazine) that is so appealling to some of us. And maybe it’s one of those habits that we somehow end up having.
But reading blogs from my toilet…this is getting dangerous…I’m gonna end up stuck here for hours!

Wow! It’s been just over a month since I started my new job and I’ve been crazy busy every since. I like it much more than my previous job, but it is work work work….pressure, deadlines, urgent requests….that’s the nature of advertising agencies and Ive been doing it for the past 1.5 years, but at this agency, it seems to be all peaks…no slowing down at all. I ’m hoping it slows down, bcuz am not sure I have the energy for this. I’ve been leaving the office late the last 2 weeks, cancelling evening plans, barely spending time with the family and barely having time for myself :s
