The clearest and calmest shore I’ve ever encountered, in the Between the Bridges area of Abu Dhabi (love the romantic name). Simply breathtaking views and surroundings, and also overlooking the magnificent Sheikh Zayed Mosque.
The small town is called that because it lies (literally) between the two bridges (Maqta and Mussafah bridges) that connect to the main Abu Dhabi island from outside.
Sinking my feet and hands in the sand and staring endlessly at the calming waters while taking in the beautiful scent of the morning and of the sea…I was in touch with nature and with my inner self.
I dont know how to describe the place or the feeling…simply priceless.
Taken from the Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri Resort (a veeeerrry beautiful place), some time after 6 AM during a sleepless night in August.
